About Kim Reindl

Kim Reindl is the creator of Pomegranate Christian Education & Formation.  She is a passionate Christian educator who believes that as we come to know God, we are naturally inspired to love God and love others. It is for this reason that Kim focuses on offering educational environments where people are invited to learn about Godís character through study, as well as formational environments where people are invited to open themselves to Godís presence through spiritual practices.

Kim attended seminary at Emory University's Candler School of Theology, where she received a Master of Divinity degree with a certificate in Religious Education.  Kim also has a Masterís degree in Communication and undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Communication from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!).  Kim served for three years as the Director of Adult Christian Formation in a large United Methodist Church (UMC) before starting Pomegranate Christian Education & Formation, and currently serves part-time as the Director of Children's Ministry at Cokes Chapel UMC in Sharpsburg, Georgia.  Over the past 25 years Kim has worked and served in a diverse number of educational settings. She has worked as a Christian educator, an English teacher in Japan, a private tutor, and graduate teaching assistant, receiving both local and international awards for teaching.  She has also served within the church as a leader of numerous adult, youth, and childrenís classes and small groups.  Kim is a professionally trained facilitator of both Disciple Bible Study and Companions in Christ studies.

Kim currently serves as the Chair of the Discipleship Ministry Team for Connectional Ministries of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church, and formerly as the Program Chair for the North Georgia Chapter of Christian Educatorís Fellowship (CEF).  Kim enjoys writing and developing curriculum.  She has written the summer quarter Sunday School Lessons (2012, 2013) for the North Georgia Advocate, the North Georgia UMCís conference newspaper and well as articles on leadership training and curriculum selection for CEF (http://ngccef.blogspot.com/)

In her spare time, Kim enjoys reading, crafting, and traveling.  She lives in Peachtree City, Georgia with her husband and two sons.
