Workshops & Seminars

Workshops and Seminars are offered as times of engaged learning.  The purpose of workshops and seminars is to offer participants the opportunity for increased knowledge on topics of interest related to the Christian faith.  Workshops are designed to be “hands on” with planned time for individual and small group activities, in addition to instruction.  Seminars are primarily lecture based, yet still include time for small/large group discussion.

Workshops

  • Experiencing God through Lectio Divina  (1 or more sessions)

  • Experiencing God through Contemplative Practices (2 sessions:  Session 1 "Lectio Divina," Session 2 "Contemplative Prayer")

Book Group Discussions

Choose a book of interest and I will lead your group through a guided discussion.  The book need not be “religious” in order to be discussed theologically.  Discussion of the book will include reflection questions that will be created and provided for your group prior to the discussion group meeting.  Scheduling for a book group discussion requires booking with Kim at least two months in advance.  Some suggested books are:

  • Life Together, by Dietrich Bonhoeffer

  • Same Kind of Different as Me, by Ron Hall & Denver Moore

Pomegranate Offerings

Pomegranate Christian Education & Formation was created to provide safe, loving, open, and honest learning environments where people are invited to explore the deeper questions of faith and to grow in openness to God, who is already with us.

One of my greatest joys in life comes when I am given the opportunity to share my own knowledge, experience, and training with others.  I have been extremely fortunate to have had many great teachers in my life.  It is my pleasure to share with you what I have learned, while receiving from you all that you have to teach me in our time together.

I am available to lead retreats, workshops, seminars, and book group discussions.  Please find here a list of possible options.  If you do not find what you are looking for, I can work with you to design an offering that fits the interests, needs, and schedule of your particular group.  Please call (Kim at 404-388-4292) or email me (Kim at kim@mail.pomegranatece.com) with questions and for availability.
